My Great Weekend

So this weekend was pretty amazing. I worked Parents' Night Out at Grace on Friday night which was a lot of FUN. The kids got to play outside, watch movies, and eat ice cream; also, the parents got a night away from their kiddos. Then Saturday morning I went to sandtray workshop that I learned how to teach children to play using sandtrays. I learned some valuable informationa about sandtrays, and how children can express their emotions.

Finally, today I went to church this morning, and then went out to Lake Bryan. I know it's not the greatest lake, but I loved being outside with GOD. I have began reading "Breaking Free" by Beth Moore, and I LOOOOOVE IT!!!! Then I walked around the trails, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my 1st weekend with nothing to do since I began grad school.

Now I officially have ONE FULL WEEK LEFT OF CLASSES :). AND I AM SUPER PUMPED AND EXCITED!!!!!!!!!

WHY, OH WHY?!?

So here is a question, why on the morning the Tippin girls are taking pictures with the beautiful spring flowers does Lauren fall on the concrete??????? She was running out of her play house, and skinned her knees and her face. May be I cannot be trusted with little kids. OR may be she knew mom scheduled pictures this afternoon :).

WOMEN'S RETREAT!!!!!

I just got back from GBC Women's Retreat, and God is truly amazing. Here are some great pictures from the retreat!! We had an amazing speaker, and our worship leader for the weekend was DONNA STUART!!!! The Phillies ladies got to know the some incredible women on the trip. I just need to say the GBC Women are so wise, hilarious, super-moms, and awesome!!!

I am officially packed and ready to go for the Women's Retreat. It looks like it will rain the entire weekend which is super sad. I will have to go to campus on Saturday to be inducted in Chi Sigma Iota (Counseling Honor Society) as the new Secretary. Then come back into the retreat craziness. That the really exciting news.

Although the even more exciting news is that I have 3 1/2 weeks left of school. WHOOP!!!!

Tuesdays are such a fun to day to make forts with the Tippin girls.

5 weeks to GO!!!

This week has been super stressful, busy, crazy, sleepiness, and about 10 other scary words. I had a presentation this Monday night, and it went well. Then I had a major test to prepare for Wednesday night. The test was all essay exam over the major developmental theorists. I spent most of week studying and then after my 1 1/2 writing extravaganza I went straight into completing other assignments. So this morning I watched the Tippin girls, and poor Lindsey's face looked like she had been to war. She is just a little dare devil, and decides she is as big as her sister.


After watching the Tippin girls I went to Blue Baker aka Allison and I's favorite place to study and eat lunch :). I wrote two papers, 1 discussion boards, and started on another assignment while studying at Blue Baker. Now for my Friday plans...I will sleep in and ENJOY IT!!! Then complete more assignments, papers, projects, and discussion boards.


HAPPY NOTE: I HAVE 5 WEEKS LEFT OF MY SECOND SEMESTER OF GRAD SCHOOL!!!!!
