Reading Kisses from Katie

Since moving from Bryan, TX aka the ghetto apartment.  I have loved living in a new apartment complex.  I now have a tanning bed, pool, flat screens and fire place near the pool, and a gate!!!  Praise Jesus for feeling safe and liking my new place.  As I remember college station times, sweet families, loving kiddos, and all the momo loving hugs I miss it every second.  Although I know this is where the Lord wants me to me right now.  


I began reading Kisses from Katie right after I have moved and this book has taught me so much.  First, I want to adopt many babies. Second, I want to travel to Uganda and love on some precious babies (everyone knows how much the Lord has Blessed me with this talent)!!  After reading this book I realized the Lord has shaped and modeled me into loving babies with all my heart.  I literally cried my first Sunday in San Antonio because I would not be able to rock, hold, comfort, kiss, and love my sweet babies from Grace Bible Church. Third, I want to pray specifically for the ministry, Katie, and her 13 children she has at 23 years old (YIKES)!!!!  Fourth, I will begin financially supporting Katie's ministry Amazima which means Truth in Ugandan.

Lee and Justin's wedding last summer

Here are Phillies from Lee and Justin's Wedding.  This was last year, but it was an amazing time with sweet friends.  I got to see Lee and Justin's house for the first time yesterday!!  It's so cute!!  I love living in San Antonio and being around sweet friends from college!!!!!!!!!!!

SAN ANTONIO

It has been months and months since I have updated my blog.  I know it's shameful, but such is life.  I have started a new job were I see clients with Bipolar, Major Depressive Disorder, and Schizophrenia.  It will be intensive work and I am excited about it.  I have moved into a new apartment and it already feels like home.  I visited Community Bible Church with Lee and Justin, and it might be my new church home.  PLEASE PRAY FOR ME TO FIND A CHURCH AND GET PLUGGED IN!!!!!

I get to see clients solo on Thursday!! WHOOP!!!  Plus Aggie Women's Softball are seated Number 8 and will host the super-regional.  OH BY THE WAY I HAVE A SECOND DATE TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!!

Teacher....Who would have guested??!!!!

Two weeks ago I was basically offered a job teaching at the Neal Head Start Center in Bryan, TX. I originally thought this was nuts, but lets face it children are amazing. So I prayed, debated, and accepted the offer. On Monday Oct 3, I began with a full day of training and being in my classroom. That is the only day of training thus far which seems unreal to me. I have spent 8 full days with my kiddos teaching, phew I'm exhausted just typing that phrase. My kids have called me white, silly, funny.....I have been hugged and kissed.....I've heard shut up and B$%#*....I had a chair thrown at me.....I have fixed boo-boos....I had paint on my bottom. All-IN-ALL IT'S BEEN AN ADVENTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
